I am pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Gilbert as Deputy County Commissioner (Development). Rob will be working with both Paul and I to encourage and support the delivery of growth across the County, in particular raising awareness and supporting the importance of quality programme delivery to support growth and development.
Many of you will know Rob as he has previously held the role of ACC Youth Involvement and was instrumental in initiating the County Youth Conference and supporting the growth of District Youth Forums. He is now permanently back in the county and will continue to be our National Youth Rep on the Scout Association Trustee board as well as continuing in the Scout section of his local group.
I am sure you will welcome Rob into your Districts as we take the County forward and I know he is enthusiastic to start looking forward to supporting Groups and Districts.
